The ABC Gala is an event designed to raise funds for scholarships and grants for winners of the Alexander & Buono Competitions, while also honoring distinguished individuals from the worlds of music and music education. This year marks the third of these events, and we are pleased to announce that we have assembled an array of ABC Winners from around the world to participate. Among the performers are Natsumi Aoyama (Japan), Alina Calderón (Costa Rica), Yelena Dof-Donskaya (Russia), George and Ted Ko (United States), and John Zhang (Sweden). The Honorees this year are Judy Cope, Executive Director of the Elizabeth and Michel Sorel Charitable Trust, and Alexandr Sklioutovski, Director of the Piano Faculty at The National University of Costa Rica, and Academic Director of The Instituto Superior de Artes in Costa Rica.
